Established in 2005 by Chrysa Apps, Training-First is a successful and highly regarded provider of quality health and social care training.
Chrysa Apps, Managing Director
A fellow of the Institute for Learning, Chrysa holds a Master of Science degree (MSc), a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA), a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), a Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), an NVQ4 Registered Managers Award (Adults) and a number of Health and Social care Assessor Awards (D32, 33, 34, 36, A1 & V1).
In addition to the above qualifications, Chrysa has many years experience in the care sector, both as a home manager and as a senior manager. In 2007 Chrysa retired from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation as Head of Practice Development where she undertook, and applied, a number of research projects incorporating various health and social care situations.
The Training-First Team
Our extremely professional and respected team consists of 6 NVQ Assessors, all of whom are qualified to level 4 in care, management and training.
Besides our Assessors we also have 4 Internal Verifiers, each of whom hold the V1 Award.
Since our Assessors and Verifiers are all qualified trainers in their particular fields of expertise, you are guaranteed a completely successful outcome when you engage our services.
